Asphalt concrete (AC) coatings include two main components: bitumen and aggregates (crushed stone).

The work presented in this paper shows preliminary results of a broad study carried out under the RILEM TC 252 CMB. It focuses specifically on the influence of short-term ageing temperatures, as used for WMA, on long-term ageing properties of bitumen.
